This stretchable high-performance PES stretch fabric has an exceptionally high wear resistance, is very dimensionally stable, fire resistant according to B1/M2, has a water column of 2 meters and is both anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and fungicidal. The ultimate stretch fabric for larger stretch tents and canopy constructions. Very easy to stretch - without any real craquelé risk.
*In terms of flexibility, this fabric only gives a real stretch at lengths from 3 metres and above. Therefore, this fabric is particularly suitable for large textile constructions such as large canopies, tarps, event tents and the like.

This flame retardant stretch fabric is a stretchable PU/PVC material on a polyester woven back (PES*). This high-end fabric is 730 gr./m² and is fully manufactured in Europe. An absolutely high-quality stretch fabric with a matt finish and almost spongy texture, but without being thick. Very waterproof (no less than 2 meters water column!). These characteristics make this stretch fabric ideal for a wide range of applications for large canopies and festival or stretch tents. Handling and maintenance & cleaning of this fire retardant stretch fabric

This stretch canvas may be cleaned with mild, PH-neutral, non-ionogenic detergents. Certainly avoid solvent containing cleaning agents(alcohol, polar solvents, etc.). Testing is always advised before using cleaning agents. After surface cleaning, please let air dry. Don’t bring coated material in contact with other colors - may cause bleed out onto other colors. This product may be subject to visual changes(pressure marks, bleeding out) after prolonged times, depending on storage conditions. Therefore is advised to avoid any form of pressure and excessive heat.

The original fabric on the underside(the back side) of this flame retardant stretch fabric is made of PES polyester. PES stands for polyestersulfon. PES is a high performance plastic, originating from the so-called polysulfones group. The material is resistant to very low temperatures with a temperature range of -100°C to approximately 180°C. For a short time the material can withstand temperatures of around 260°C. PES fabric is, even at high temperatures, a stable and therefore dimensionally stable material. It is also fire retardant (fire classes B1 DIN4102 and M2) and hydrolysis resistant. The coating of this exceptional stretch fabric is a mix of p.v.c. and p.u. PU stands for polyurethane. You can see it as a kind of transparent glue. After the PU coating process, the fabric will increase according to the desired flexibility. The combination with PVC ensures an incomparably high water resistance on the outside, while the inside of this stretch fabric absorbs and transmits condensation and perspiration. In other words: this fire resistant stretch fabric is the ultimate stretch fabric for large tents, festival tents, stretch tents, large canopies and more.
