ESVO has its own range of European manufactured stainless eyelets. These have unique differences from normal grommets. See the tips at the bottom.
Where are the differences from other sets of eyelets?
- FROST-FREE
Most eyelets are made of iron and then coated with a ‘layer’ of brass - these will eventually rust. Our grommets, on the other hand, are 100% brass. So although brass eyelets will ‘fog up’ over time, they are rustproof.
- PRICE
Because ESVO sells many eyelets online, we not only have our own brand, but you also benefit from our large economies of scale thanks to our purchasing. Therefore, our price is the lowest available price for eyelets.
- PRODUCT RANGE
We supply sets of eyelets in diameters Ø 10 mm, Ø 12 mm, Ø 16 mm.
And in the types 100% brass (the copper look) and 100% brass/nickel-plated (the silver look).
Delivery of our eyelets
The eyelets have an inner diameter of 12 mm, so they are suitable for a Ø12 mm hole. The set comes in a strong blister pack with 25 pieces, together with mould and punch.
Important tip on how to punch in the eyelets
If you punch in the grommets yourself, it is important to realise that large forces are exerted on the cloth in windy conditions. To prevent the guy ropes and eyelets from tearing, we therefore recommend placing a reinforcement tape behind the eyelet, so that the eyelet has sufficient grip and therefore remains firmly attached to the cloth.
