BLISS Citel is a waterproof outdoor furniture fabric with the highest UV resistance. This all-weather fabric is also washable, oil-repellent and fungicidal treated. See the enumeration of the unique technical features below.

BLISS Citel is an acrylic dyed from a 100% solution. This means that the durable, bright colours IN the fibres are dyed, which gives the highest UV resistance and colour fastness.
Our collection of BLISS Citel waterproof outdoor furniture fabrics has been splash-proof treated, have undergone a special treatment to reduce the absorption of stains and dirt, plus a technical treatment to prevent the growth of microbes and fungi and a finish that provides the fabrics with a very smooth texture that prevents lint formation (pilling). Easy to clean (see info below).

Composition: 100% acrylic, the most durable synthetic fabric.
Painting technique: solution dyed; IN the fibres. For the brightest and u.v.-resistant colours.
Water resistance: minimum 80 (in the spray test). According to the international standard UNE 24920.
Weather and UV resistance*: 7-8 on the blue scale (8 being the highest). According to international standards ISO 105-B04 and B02
Oil-repellency: minimum 5. According to the international standard ATTCC 118
Frictional resistance: 30,000 rpm (Martindale method). According to the international standard ISO 12947-2.
Dimensional stability: approx. 0.5%.
*The weather fastness of a fabric consists of colour fastness and the influence of UV radiation on a damp cloth (where the raindrops act as if they were a magnifying glass on the cloth). Marquise fabric has a weather fastness of 8, which is the highest classification. Docril Garden scores a 7-8 on the blue scale. There is simply no higher value in colour fastness for outdoor furniture fabrics.

Maintenance of BLISS Citel. For a longer life span and a better appearance of the fabric for your outdoor cushions.

We recommend that you clean your BLISS Citel outdoor furniture fabric with a soft brush and rinse it with water. For local stains: clean with a neutral cleaning agent, mixed with lukewarm water (maximum 40º C) and then rinse off. This outdoor furniture fabric should then be allowed to dry completely, if necessary you may also iron the fabric.

BLISS Citel outdoor upholstery fabric for outdoor cushions is treated to resist oil-based product stains, so that splashes, dry stains and spills on boat cushions or outdoor cushions can be easily cleaned with a dry cloth and dry stains can be easily removed. The official classification for the Oil Test is of class 6, the last of the highest class and that of our Docril N acrylic cloths.

The technical and absolutely waterproof coating that is applied to the BLISS Citel outdoor furniture fabric ensures homogeneous color reproduction on both sides of the acrylic fabric without the "whitish" appearance on the coated layer.
