Applications of wooden tent pegs
Wooden tent pegs are ideal for softer soils, such as in the forest, clay, sand or grass.
A standard wooden peg has little ground resistance because of its narrow side.
Thick wooden pegs have a good grip in moist (grass) soil, because the pegs suck into the soil - just like a wooden fence post. In the latter case, wooden pegs can also be used as storm pegs.
