Can I view the ERIBA caravan awning at ESVO in Volendam?

Yes. The awning, including all available colour combinations, can be viewed at ESVO in Volendam, Marconistraat 4, 1131 JW. Viewing is by appointment only. Click here to schedule an appointment.

I cannot or do not wish to travel to Volendam. Can I order online and view the colours remotely?

Yes, this is very easy. Contact us via the form and indicate the colour scheme you have in mind, for example grey and orange. We will send you all currently available grey and orange shades digitally. You can select your preferred colours online.
Still unsure? We can also send up to four of your favourite colours as fabric samples to your home address. After that, simply inform our ERIBA specialist of your final choice. A few weeks later, your awning will be produced in your chosen colour combination.

How long does it take to produce an ERIBA caravan awning?

This depends on the season. September through March is the ideal period to contact us. During this time, the average waiting time is up to six weeks. As we approach the summer season, lead times increase due to high-season demand. We therefore advise contacting us in time.

How does payment work?

Do you need my ERIBA caravan in Volendam to produce the awning?

For most ERIBA models, this is not necessary. We have measurements for approximately 98% of common models, including current model years.
If we do not yet have the measurements of your specific model, the caravan will need to be present in Volendam by appointment only. The caravan remains with us for a few hours. After enjoying our beautiful surroundings, you can collect it again the same day.

I am ordering a 2026 ERIBA model. Can I already order an awning?

Yes, in most cases this is not a problem. We usually already have the technical drawings, and measuring on site is generally not required.

What type and how many awning poles are supplied as standard?

We supply three ESVO adjustable aluminium poles as standard, adjustable from 165 to 245 cm.
Many customers choose four or five poles for a small additional charge, allowing the awning to be pitched in a vario configuration.

What is the lifespan of a cotton ERIBA caravan awning?

We do not express lifespan in years, as this depends on usage. Instead, we measure in camping weeks. On average, we estimate approximately 50 to 60 camping weeks.

What is the depth of the base awning?

Approximately 225 cm at the corners, extending to around 250 cm at the centre.

What fabric quality is used for the ERIBA awning?

We use exclusively high-quality, heavy cotton tent fabric of AAA quality.

What is included with the ERIBA cotton caravan awning?

Each awning is supplied with three aluminium upright poles, pegs, and guy lines. An ESVO tent bag and pole bag are also included.

Can I choose the colour of the awning myself?

Yes. Available colours and corresponding prices can be requested from our specialists.
If you own an ERIBA model from 2012 or later, ask about our special offer in a standard colour scheme at a reduced price.

Can you also produce an awning for a very large caravan (approx. 4.5 metres wide)?

Yes, this is possible, although a small surcharge applies. In such cases, we use two upright ESVO poles in the centre instead of one, ensuring proper tensioning.

On some ERIBA caravans, the door rubs against the fabric. How is this solved?

We add an extra reinforcement at no additional cost. All applicable models are already recorded in our database.

Can the ERIBA awning be made from a material other than cotton?

No. This awning design cannot be produced in polyester, as the fabric would crease and fail to tension properly. The shape is therefore unsuitable for polyester.
If you only require a straight, rectangular roof, this can be produced in polyester. However, the curved shape shown in our imagery is not available in polyester.

Does the ESVO front panel have a zip?

Yes. The front panel features a central zip, dividing it into two sections. This allows each section to be zipped open independently.

In which parts can windows be installed?

• Windows cannot be installed in the base awning

• Up to two windows per side panel can be added to the zip-on side panels (clear windows with interior or exterior closing flaps)

• Up to eight windows can be added to the zip-on front panel (clear windows with interior or exterior closing flaps)

Ordering Additional Components After Delivery / Modifying the Awning
Do I need to decide now whether I want a complete awning including side panels and front panel, or can I order these later?

It is possible to order in stages, but we do not recommend it. Most customers choose to order the side panels immediately. Otherwise, the entire awning must be returned for the installation of zips, which involves additional labour and costs that are avoided with an initial order.

If you are unsure about the front panel and wish to order it later, this is also possible. In that case, both the base awning and the zip-on side panels are required. This also involves additional labour and costs compared to ordering everything at once.

Do I need to decide now whether I want windows, or can they be added later?

You do not need to decide immediately. In fact, if you are unsure, we recommend ordering the side panels without windows first. If you later find you miss them, simply bring in the side panels and we will install the windows for you.
