A set consists of 25 eyelets made of durable nickle-plated brass. The polished finish ensures that the rings glide smoothly over any curtain rail. Suitable for various types of curtains. We provide the following tips for setting these special eyelets. These eyelets have a so-called copper-look.

These 40 mm eyelets are made with a hand stamp, are rust-resistant, and feature a high collar.

Our extra-large eyelets feature a high collar, meaning they can be installed through thick layers of fabric. This is not possible with most other eyelets. Of course, you can also use these eyelets for thinner fabrics — that will always work.
Additionally, we supply these eyelets with a punch and mould (a so called hand stamp), allowing you to punch holes in the fabric and set the eyelets in your curtains.
It is important to note that our 40 mm eyelets are made of brass, which makes them resistant to moisture, making them perfect for bathrooms or outdoor use.

Features of our 4 cm diameter curtain rings – the difference from other rings

• Stainless Steel: Most 40 mm eyelets are made of iron and coated with a layer of brass, which can and will rust quickly. Our eyelets are 100% brass and also nickel-plated. Brass eyelets may tarnish over time but are rust-free and suitable for humid environments.
• Inner diameter of 40 mm curtain rings: This means the ‘hole’ in the eyelets has a diameter of 4 cm. The total diameter of the eyelet is 62 mm.
• High Collar Eyelets: These are suitable for all fabrics. If the fabric is thinner, it doesn’t matter. With our special stamp, you can always achieve a neat result, thick fabric or not.
• We supply these 40 mm eyelets with a hand stamp and hollow punch to both create the hole and set the eyelets in the fabric.

How to Set These Eyelets Yourself – in the Case of Curtain Rings

Beautiful curtains fall in soft pleats, providing a structured and symmetrical look, suitable for your interior. Calculating the width of the curtains requires some planning, but with a calculator and measuring tape, you can determine the correct width for your curtains, whether pre-made or custom. First, make a rough estimate, and in the next paragraph, you'll learn how to measure the exact number of eyelets you need.
Estimate: For a 40 mm (4 cm) curtain ring diameter and a tape height of 80 mm (8 cm), you need 6 curtain rings per meter of fabric.

IMPORTANT: Setting these 40 mm curtain rings can only be done with our special tools. You can make the holes using the hollow punch. For some fabrics, this may be difficult. In that case, you can mark and cut the holes with sharp scissors. Then, use the special stamp to set the eyelets in the fabric.

How to Measure the Number of Curtain Rings for Your Curtains

Measure the length of the curtain: Measure from where you want the rod installed to where you want the curtain to fall, e.g., to the bottom of the windowsill.

Measure the length of the curtain ring: Measure from the top of the curtain (NOT the top of the eyelet) to the bottom. The eyelets are placed approximately 2.5 cm from the top of the fabric. This means the curtain will hang about 1 ¼ shorter (1.25 x 2.5 cm = 3.2 cm) than the full length of the curtain.

Measure the width of the curtain: The curtain width should be 1 ½ times the width of the window to fully cover the (window) area. See the image below:
