A strong and durable hitch cover for a caravan: what should it meet?

A really strong hitch cover for a caravan or trailer, which should last a long time, should be made of heavy and reinforced PVC, also known as ‘truck tarpaulin’ or ‘bisonyl’. That material consists of two layers of PVC with a polyester fabric in between, which reinforces the PVC like a mat. The weight of that bisonyl is at least 440 g/m2. The PVC should also be UV-resistant, so that it can stand in the sun for a particularly long time. Furthermore, a good drawbar cover is waterproof, storm-proof, stitched all around with polyester sewing thread and equipped with 2 long fastening straps (at least 50 cm). Finally, it is good and pleasant if a drawbar cover is easy to clean.

For decades, we have been supplying hitch covers that distinguish themselves - with the above-mentioned properties - from those from abroad. These are supplied to private individuals as well as camping retailers and online camping shops. Incidentally, our range is shown below, in various colours.

Because our heavy PVC is the best basis for a print, it is also possible to order a hitch cover with your own design from us: printed with your own logo and/or text - in solid colours or full colour. Double-sided and sharply printed.
