Unique and interchangeable with existing metal push-button systems offered on the market.
Unlike traditional metal screw-on studs used for marine applications, the YKK SNAD will not deteriorate from exposure to sunlight, sand and dirt. The unique dome shape of these press studs makes it possible to enter with bare feet!
The fastening of the YKK SNAD press studs is special, to say the least: On the back of the plastic "dome", a pad of 3M™, VHB™ acrylic conformal foam adhesive tape is applied with which the YKK SNAD snaps onto the surface without drilling a hole. This pad has a diameter of 40 mm.
For more than 20 years, the VHB™ product line has proven itself in marine, automotive, medical, aerospace and architectural applications. Application of the YKK SNAD is limited to cleaning the surface of application, peeling off the protective paper backing, positioning and pressing firmly!
The YKK SNAD press studs are available in black and white. Also in these colours there is a flexible version for curved surfaces!
