Poll-tex® is a Dutch patented product and a solution for people with pollen allergies. The basic material of this mosquito netting is a polyester knitted fabric that is provided with an electrostatic coating that is permanently present. During the pollen season the me3sh will have to be cleaned regularly, this can be done simply by rinsing the gauze with water or by vacuuming the gauze clean with a vacuum cleaner. 

Due to the unique combination of mosquito netting with an electrostatic coating, this high-quality mosquito net material combines several properties, it stops pollen, is highly transparent and has a high relative air permeability.

The material has been tested and certified at the "Charité" hospital in Berlin.

Background information about Poll-Tex.
Poll-Tex is a patented mosquito netting. It keeps pollen and pollen completely out, has a high air permeability and you can also look through it.

In terms of fineness: standard mosquito netting has 49 openings per cm2. Poll-Tex has no less than 162 openings and is therefore more than 3 times finer. This fineness ensures that only oxygen can pass through it.



*As only medically certified: Research by the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF) has shown that Poll-Tex® mesh has a protective effect of 96%. Ecarf has tested the four most common pollen that cause hay fever. The gauze has been tested on the permeability of pollen grains from grass, ambrosia, birch and nettles. With the grass pollen, the air protection even turned out to be 100%. These special properties make Poll-tex a unique product. We had Poll-tex tested at the Charite University Clinic in Berlin, Germany. This specialist allergy clinic is the only place in Europe where pollen permeability can be tested 24 hours a day. This German clinic is considered the best research laboratory in Europe and their standards are considered the highest and most reliable.
