This fabric is used as an awning fabric. Our extensive range of waterproof coated Ten Cate All Season fabric is also extremely suitable as a sunshade fabric. Please check our website for this highly functional awning fabric, which is also used for caravan awnigs.

Advice for the best sewing thread

For our acrylic fabrics, we recommend 100% bonded polyester industrial sewing thread. Click here for our product range.
This is a special (non-standard!) so-called bonded sailmaker's thread. Due to its special properties, this yarn is by far the most suitable for outdoor applications.
It is durable(very UV-resistant, abrasion-resistant), resistant to salt water, strong and still fairly stretchy.
Our polyester sailmaker yarn can be used for both machine sewing (needle thickness 90-120) and hand sewing.
